• Lab reports: the files you upload for analysis
• Extracted health data: marker values and results derived from your reports
• Usage data: how you interact with the app (pages visited, features used)

How we use your data

• To analyze your lab reports and provide health marker explanations
• To generate personalized action plans based on your results
• To track trends across your reports over time
• To improve the accuracy and functionality of our service

We do not sell your personal or health data to third parties.

Data storage and security

• Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers (Supabase infrastructure)
• Lab report files are stored in encrypted cloud storage
• Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account
• We use row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate ScanHealth:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage
• Anthropic (Claude API) — AI-powered report analysis. Your report content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use API inputs for training. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Vercel — website hosting

Your rights

• You can view all data associated with your account at any time
• You can request deletion of your account and all associated data
• You can download your data upon request

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (including uploaded reports and extracted results) is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
